J.Gill and Company was hired to perform a full restoration of the parking structure located at 901 S. Ashland Avenue. This 2-story parking structure had not been in use for the previous 8 years and had been left vacant due to the uncertainty of it's structural integrity. Approximately 2500 SF of partial depth repair was performed to the elevated concrete slab, along with 23 post-tension tendon repairs and replacements. Full-depth concrete slab replacement was performed to a significant section of the steel reinforced ramp, as well as large portions of slab on grade replacement at the entryway. New masonry walls were installed around the perimeter of the elevated deck and a new traffic bearing waterproof coating was applied to the elevated concrete slab. This project was completed in the Fall of 2020.
