Project: Grand Plaza Apartments (Chicago, IL)

   ​​​J.Gill and Company was hired to restore the 3rd and 4th Floors of the parking garage located beneath the Grand Plaza Apartments located at 540 N. State St. in Chicago. Over 2,500 SF of partial depth concrete repair was completed, with over 1,000 SF of full depth concrete slab replacement. A new heavy-duty Kelmar traffic coating was installed on the ramps, entry & exit bays, and sections of level 3.  The work restricted access in and out of the structure, so the entire 7-story garage was closed for the duration of this 2-month project. The garage was re-opened in August of 2021.
